The Middleton Lodge Estate in North Yorkshire is to hold a recruitment day for a variety of roles in January, including cocktail bartenders, bar staff and chefs.
It will be hosted by the senior management team on Wednesday 24 January from 12pm to 8pm at the recently restored Old Forge Barn and The Fig House where anyone interested in the positions available can drop in for an informal chat and introduction to the estate.
Glen Taylor, deputy general manager, said: “Our Georgian country estate is expanding, and 2018 is set to be our most exciting year yet. Our recruitment day is a chance to people to visit the estate, meet with the team, and chat through the vacancies we have available.
“The new year is always a great time for people to take stock and consider changing jobs or even careers. If one of our positions is of interest to you, come visit us on Wednesday 24 January, we might have something that’s perfect for you.”
Front-of-house positions currently available on the estate include restaurant manager, restaurant supervisor, sommelier, mixologists, waiting staff, bar staff and receptionist.
In the kitchen, vacancies include head chef, chef de rang, deli chef and chefs at all levels as well as kitchen porters and pot washers. A variety of live-in roles will be available.
Middleton Lodge in Middleton Tyas near Richmond is home to boutique hotel accommodation, events spaces The Old Forge Barn and The Fig House and The Coach House Bar & Restaurant (pictured) which specialises in cocktails, regional ales and wines.
