The premises of a popular late-night bar in Bristol have been put on the market after the operators decided to look for “a quieter life”.
Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has been instructed to sell the leasehold of Yia Mass in Park Street in Bristol. The property with its current lease and A3 licence offers a new operator an opportunity to trade for long hours in a good location.
Yia Mass – inspired by the Greek word for “cheers” – offers coffee and food throughout the day and, by night, it trades as a bar and late-night music venue, open until 5.30am on Friday and Saturday nights, with a loyal following.
The venue has been run by the current lease-holders since 2005 but Christie & Co said they were “now looking for a quieter life” and to focus on a new potential business venture in Bristol.
James Ribbons, business agent in Christie & Co’s Bristol office who is handling the sale, said: “The A3 classification and late-night licence at the site offers the operator an opportunity to trade literally throughout the day and night as the area has an appetite for everything from breakfast to late-night – early morning – drinking. The terms of the current lease create a very lucrative opportunity for the right buyer.
