Rail House Café opens in London Victoria

A new café has opened in London which offers nine different egg dishes for brunch including the Burgerdict – poached egg, beef patty, hollandaise and American cheese on an English muffin.

The globally-inspired menu offers healthy choices and indulgent comforts and is the latest opening from Village London, the family of modern all-day cafés including the Riding House Café in Fitzrovia and Village East on Bermondsey Street.

The upstairs bar, The Puffing Devil has been designed so that customers can appreciate the dramatic architectural views out of two-storey floor to ceiling glass walls and serves cocktails such as Saffron Spritz, which consists of saffron gin, rhubarb liqueur, tonic and Chandon Rose. Or there’s the Seoul Train, which is made with watermelon juice, Sangsom Rum, Jinju 24, lime juice and coriander.

Rail House Café has a terrace for customers to enjoy a drink from the wine list including a selection of natural and orange wines as well as draft beer and bottles from small independent producers.

Designed by founder Adam White in conjunction with Box 9 Design, intricate Colonial era details and custom made furniture sit alongside 21st century sheer glass and concrete to create a dramatic effect. The light filled space evolves throughout the day inspired in part by the concept of a bustling metropolitan station with multiple hubs.
