The London Essence Company, a collection of skillfully distilled tonics and mixers, is launching an initiative that brings together talented bartenders to explore and build creative potential. ‘The Essence of the Season’ kicks off this Autumn/Winter 2017 with its first theme ‘Winter Forestry’. The London Essence Co. is the first British non-alcoholic drinks brand to create a collaborative forum for bartenders.
The London Essence Co. will support seven bartenders from London – where the brand holds its roots – during the forum’s first season. They will create their own unique expression of the season alongside industry mentors Nick Strangeway, Stu Bale, photographer Addie Chinn, and forager/alchemist Jemma Foster.
‘The Essence of the Season’ programme will launch with a workshop at Crucible London on 19th September. Participants will be chosen by Hamish Bremner, Brand Ambassador for The London Essence Co., and the originator of this season’s theme, along with Stu Bale. For the seven bartenders selected, these ideas will be cultivated further during a day of inspiration with collaborative sessions on foraging, access to the laboratory and a Winter Forestry feast.
Participants will have access to the lab and equipment during the two-week period that follows and then regroup on the 1st October to share final creations and get tips from master of the camera Addie Chinn on how to take phenomenal images of drinks.
Application forms can be accessed by expressing interest to firstname.lastname@example.org by the 4th September 2017.
