Timmy Green, a new Australian restaurant and bar from the founders of Daisy Green, has opened its doors in Nova, London Victoria.
The 120-cover venue has a dedicated bar area with a baby grand piano and dedicated DJ booth, an upbeat restaurant set over two floors, outdoor lounging and an alfresco coffee bar. The interior showcases original art and sculpture from British artists including a giant egg by famous pop artist Sir Peter Blake and a live Instagram printer allowing guests to print and share their memories.
The food offering focuses on creative small plates designed for sharing and big prime steaks that are cooked to order, appealing to those seeking an all day brunch spot or a sophisticated evening venue. The all-day brunch menu features some of the favorites from sibling restaurant Daisy Green including the Fancy Bacon Roll made up of paratha roti, back bacon and crispy onion crusted poached eggs, and Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes.
Organic and natural wines feature on the Australian influenced wine menu and cocktails have a fresh and summery twist: think Veuve Clicquot Champagne Cooler and Raspberry and Lime Sour. Nine brass craft beer taps provide a changing selection of craft beers from local London breweries.
Timmy is named after founder Prue’s late brother, an Aussie cowboy who lived and worked on the stations in the Northern Territory and loved a well-cooked steak. It’s the first restaurant and bar to open in the high-end Nova Development in Victoria. In the coming months, Timmy will be joined by the likes of Jason Atherton, Will Ricker, D&D, ETM and Sticks ‘n Sushi.
