World Gin Day is back – and it’s bigger than ever

Bars, pubs and restaurants across the UK are gearing up for World Gin Day on Saturday June 10, which promises to be bigger than ever this year.

Gin tastings, pop-ups and special gin and cocktail menus are planned, promoted via WorldGinDay.com and social media with the hashtag #WorldGinDay. They include an Australian gin tasting at the Oliver Conquest in London, a gin festival at the True North Brew Co’s British Oak in Sheffield and a gin and beer festival at the Pilgrim in Marchwood, Southampton.

Food and drink specialist Gingerline has teamed up with gin producer Sipsmith to create Juniper Manor – a gin and food experience in an as-yet-unnamed London location.

The weekend is also packed with festivals including The Gin Fest in Dundee, Ginchester Fete in Winchester in Hampshire, Gin Festival in Newcastle upon Tyne, and Ginstock and Junipalooza in London. Burleighs Gin will be organising a gin festival in Leicester’s Champions Place.
