100% Design, the UK’s largest design trade show, is returning for its 21st edition, showcasing the latest in interiors, including ideas for bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants. Taking place from September 23 to 26, it has moved to a new home at Olympia London, spread over two levels in the Grand and West Halls.

The programme of speakers, Talks with 100% Design, is returning, featuring leading designers and design specialists. Headline speakers will include Ilse Crawford whose Studioilse has created products and designs for interiors of all kinds, including restaurants and bars such as Soho House New York and Cecconi’s in London.

Since the show was first staged in a tent off London’s King’s Road in 1995, it has gone on to become the benchmark event for promoting design excellence and creativity both within and outside the UK. Its 2014 edition attracted over 28,300 attendees, a 36% increase in total footfall since Media 10 acquired the show in 2011. This year, it will have over 400 exhibitors.

Based on the central theme “Design in Colour”, 100% Design 2015 has collaborated with trend forecasters WGSN, among many others, to bring to life the visual and sensual experience of using colour across interiors and the built environment.

Key exhibitors confirmed include hospitality interiors specialist Andy Thornton, hospitality lighting designers such as Delightfull (pictured top), Original BTC and Mullan Lighting (pictured bottom), flooring supplier Karndean, and tiling specialist Solus Ceramics. LG Hausys will showcase its solid surface material HI-MACS which can be moulded to striking effect – pictured below is the TrickShot bar in Bucharest, Romania, made with HI-MACS.

Show director William Knight said: “It’s another significant and exciting year for 100% Design. We’re set for the most visually dramatic edition, bringing the UK’s leading design show to a new home for the first time in 17 years. The natural light, intimacy and high-quality visitor experience at Olympia London, blended with the focused and original content of the show, promises to be a brilliant and stimulating combination.”
