Cocktails in the City returns to London with international bars

Cocktails in the City Edinburgh

Bars from across London are preparing for the return of Cocktails in the City – the festival of drinks from the team behind the trade-only Boutique Bar Show.

They are set to create pop-ups over three days from March 10 to 12 in the magnificent historic building, One Mayfair. It will feature an international room for the first time, with teams from Little Red Door in Paris, Door 74 in Amsterdam and Ruby in Copenhagen.

London bars due to take part include Cahoots, Coq d’Argent, Powder Keg Diplomacy, Reverend JW Simpson, Dishoom, Looking Glass Cocktail Club, Hush and The Whip, with many more set to join them. They are all partnering a different drinks brand such as the Cocktail Trading Co in Brick Lane teaming up with Funkin (pictured).

There will also be a long feasting table in the main hall, delivering creative dining and serving up a cocktail-inspired menu, and a rooftop barbecue and bar.

The festival comes to Leeds on April 7 and 8, taking over the Town Hall, expanding from one night to two after the success of sell-out events in 2014 and 2015. It will feature 20 bars although no names have yet been announced.

Cocktails in the City is a consumer event created by the organisers of Boutique Bar Show, the trade show that next takes place in Manchester on May 18 followed by London and Edinburgh later in the year.
