Aber Falls unveils new liqueur and redesign

Aber Falls Gingerbread Liqueur

Halewood-owned Welsh distillery Aber Falls has extended its range with the release of a Gingerbread Liqueur, which also toasts a new bottle design for the brand.

Described as perfect for mixing, sipping and savouring, the new liquid is “rich amber in colour”, offering “warm ginger and honey aromas, cinnamon and sweet vanilla on the palate, and a creamy finish”.

Bottled at 20.3% ABV, the Gingerbread Liqueur makes its debut in 900 JD Wetherspoon pubs across the UK.

It presents the first product in the brand’s portfolio to boast a new bottle design, which features a slimmer waist, new branded shrink sleeve and a Welsh dragon embossed onto the neck to showcase Aber Falls’ Welsh roots.

The new Gingerbread Liqueur joins three other liqueurs – Violet, Coffee & Dark Chocolate and Salted Toffee – and four gins – Rhubarb & Ginger, Orange Marmalade, Small-Batch and Welsh Dry – in the Aber Falls range.

James Wright, managing director at Aber Falls Whisky Distillery, said: “Aber Falls’ portfolio of gins and liqueurs has been hugely successful since day one, picking up a raft of accolades and listings.

“It has certainly set high standards and given a sense of what people can expect from our whisky release in early 2021.

“To extend the range with another quality liquid and intriguing flavour was a natural next step. The Gingerbread Liqueur is incredibly versatile and highly mixable, and we’re looking forward to the on-trade experimenting with it to create some exciting serves for their customers to enjoy.”
