Agnes Arber releases pineapple-flavoured gin

Agnes Arber Pineapple gin

UK distributor and brand owner Signature Brands is expanding its Agnes Arber gin portfolio, with the launch of a new pineapple-flavoured variant.

Tapping into the ever-growing flavoured gin category, Agnes Arber Pineapple leads on from the successful launch of Arber Rhubarb last year, and adds another “bold” expression to the gin range.

The new 41.6% ABV variant offers a “rich, tropical experience all-year-round”, featuring Agnes Arber’s original nine botanicals as well as sweet flavourings of fresh pineapple and a hint of mango, post distillation.

Nic Ponticakis, head of Signature Brands, said: “Following on from the successes of the first two SKUs, we almost immediately began looking for our next flavour innovation, in a quest to find a combination that would not only disrupt the crowded flavoured gin market and provide a strong point of difference, but also keep up with current consumer trends.

“With very few pineapple gins on the market, and the majority of these existing at only a liqueur-level ABV, we see Arber Pineapple as an opportunity to cut through the flavoured gin noise and recruit even more drinkers to the gin category.”

The Agnes Arber team at Signature Brands have developed a number of suggested serves for the new pineapple variant, including the Pineapple Fizz, Pineapple Sour and Pineapple & Ginger (recipes below).
