All Bar One to expand with two new sites

All Bar One O2 GreenwichMitchells & Butlers is to open two new All Bar One bars in London this summer as part of expansion and development for the brand.

It will open a 380 sq m site, with 200 covers, at 62 Buckingham Gate in Victoria – the Land Securities office and retail development that was completed in May last year.

It will include covered terrace seating as well as a tasting and mixology table where customers can book cocktail master classes or enjoy a wine tasting.

In July, M&B will open a 1,283 sq m All Bar One at The O2 in London’s Docklands, set across three floors with 400 covers (pictured top).

The top floor will feature a DJ booth and dance floor, which will be available for private hire, pre- and post-events at The O2 and for corporate entertaining.

Open from 9am until 1am, the bar will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner including light bites, tapas and new global sharing plates.

All Bar One retail director Susan Chappell said: “The O2, complete with its state-of-the-art arena, exhibition space and cinema, is one of the most attended and talked-about venues in the world, so when a site became available we jumped at the opportunity.

“All Bar One at The O2 will be a prime location for our brand, not only in terms of its sheer size split over three floors, but what it serves to represent in terms of our latest offering.

“Preceding that, our opening at Buckingham Gate, Victoria will capitalise on the increasing amounts of footfall from the large number of businesses in the local area.”

This announcement follows the opening of a new All Bar One airside at Birmingham Airport this month which will be followed by a second landside at the airport in June.

Once both sites are open at Birmingham Airport, the two new bars at The O2 and Victoria will increase the group’s portfolio to 49 sites.
