He won the London heat with his cocktail, The Naturally, Bubbly, Happily, Troubly, which was made with AquaRiva Reposado tequila, raspberry-infused Aperol and vanilla agave liqueur, topped with Italian prosecco.
The competition is running to tie in with National Positive Drinking Month, created by AquaRiva’s founder Cleo Rocos. It challenges bartenders to create a “positive” cocktail that uses only pure and natural ingredients and no chemicals or preservatives.
They also have to come up with a tale of their wildest night-out, inviting them to share some of their “most fabulous” experiences with alcohol.
The competition aims to highlight “The Power of Positive Drinking”, named after the book written by Cleo, who champions “hangover-free” alcoholic drinks made with no artificial ingredients.
