Artis introduces new cutlery and tableware ranges

Artis Monarch Range

A range of stainless-steel cutlery designed to avoid fingerprints has been added to the portfolio of barware and tableware specialist Artis.

The Monarch range of cutlery, manufactured by WNK, stops marks appearing through its unusual honeycomb embossed handle.

Part of the Premium Cutlery section in Artis’s new catalogue, the range has a solid good-quality feel, made from durable 18/10 stainless steel.

There are eight pieces in the collection, which includes table knife and fork, dessert knife and fork, steak/pizza knife, and soup, dessert and tea spoons.

Other additions to the Artis include Modern Rustic, a new range of porcelain tableware from Bauscher, picking up on the re-emerging trend towards rustic materials with colour.

All pieces are individually hand painted and no two pieces are identical. They feature an in-glaze decoration which means the coloured paint pattern is applied by hand to a glazed piece that has already been fired at 1,400̊ Celsius and, after being hand-painted, the pieces are fired again, ensuring the colour does not fade and each item has the same resistance to marking, scratching and fading associated with all Bauscher porcelain.

The range features 22 different pieces including cups, saucers, flat and deep coupe plates, bowls, relish dishes and rectangular platters in a variety of sizes. There are five different colours to choose from – Blue, Sand, Wood, Grey and Stone – which can be mixed and matched.
