Aston Manor Cider scoops top awards at Bartenders’ Brand Awards

Aston Manor Cider has swept the board after receiving all three; gold, silver, and bronze medals at the recent Bartenders’ Brand Awards 2021.

Taking not one, but five out of the nine positions for the cider category, and achieving the highest combined score for a producer in cider, Aston Manor Cider brands led the way in the prestigious awards.

The World’s Best Still Cider – Malvern Gold, Friels 5.5% First Press Vintage Cider, and on-trade exclusive -Kingstone Press Wild Berry Cider, Kingstone Press Apple Cider, and Kingstone Press Low Alcohol Cider all received medals across the categories of taste, value, and design and packaging ensuring Aston Manor Cider gained the highest combined score for a manufacturer in the cider category.

Aston Manor Cider also took the limelight in the pre-mixed drinks category.  Its vodka-based hard seltzer, Sol Duc was the only drink to be awarded in the low-calorie spirit / mixer sub-category, where it was awarded silver and bronze medals for its Strawberry & Lime, Raspberry & Rose, and Rhubarb & Ginger flavours, ensuring the entire Sol Duc range was given accolades.

The Bartenders’ Brand Awards are a blind tasting, design, and value-tested competition for drinks available within the UK bar industry.

Calli O’Brien, brand controller at Aston Manor Cider, comments: “Winning these awards provides our brands with independent recognition for their quality, and to have such a spread of products awarded demonstrates the depth and breadth of our range for the on-trade.  These awards add to our collection of independent recognitions for our range including the title of World’s Best Still Cider for Malvern Gold!”
