Award-winning bartender Jamie Jones has joined a leading drinks and creative marketing agency to support its work on drinks development for brands and bars.
He has taken on the new role of director of drinks at Scotch + Limon to help clients develop global signature serves, disruptive serves and rituals as well as seasonal recipes for the on- and off-trade.
As part of Scotch + Limon’s full bar consultancy services, Jamie will work with the team to provide services such as concept, design and menu development, staff selection and training.
Jamie (pictured) was most recently executive bars manager at Jason Atherton’s bar and restaurant group The Social Company, working across 17 sites in cities including London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Dubai. Its London locations include City Social, Pollen Street Social, Sosharu and Social Eating House, also home to bar Blind Pig.
Jamie took part in the latest Diageo Reserve World Class Bartender of the Year competition, winning the UK title and going on to be placed sixth in the world at the global finals in Mexico in August.
Jamie is joining Barrie Wilson and Fabrice Limon who founded Scotch + Limon in 2015 as an independent drinks consultancy agency. It works with global and boutique brands including Jura, The Macallan, Martini, Seedlip, Johnnie Walker and The Naked Grouse.
