Bacardí has announced the launch of Bacardí Spiced, a new rum expression that is blended with natural flavours and spices.
The latest addition to the Bacardí portfolio has been mellowed in charred American oak barrels for a “hint of smokiness”, and is said to boast a bold yet smooth taste. No artificial sweeteners have been used to create the spirit.
Described as a “versatile drink”, Bacardí Spiced can be enjoyed in a classic mixer like cola or poured over ice.
The arrival of Bacardí Spiced to the market, following the launch of Bacardí Ginger and Bacardí Raspberry in 2018, comes in response to the “increasing global demand for flavoured rums”.
Tine Van Nevel, brand director, Europe for Bacardí rum, said: “The decision to introduce a spiced blend into our rum portfolio was a natural one as consumers have shown the demand is there.
“We’re confident Bacardí Spiced will satisfy the taste buds of long-time spiced rum drinkers as well as converting some new fans with its unique combination of spices and flavours.”
