A new food menu has been launched across Balls Brothers bars, described by owner Novus as “the most exciting menu overhaul that the brand has seen”.
Created by the Novus in-house food development team, it sees the introduction of a daily specials menu alongside new starters and main courses at the 10-strong London group.
New dishes include slow-roasted lamb shoulder, served with crushed pea and mint, new potatoes, asparagus and soya beans plus a red wine jus (pictured below), and goat’s cheese, courgette, roasted tomatoes and pepper tart, served with dressed mixed leaves.
The new daily specials comprise five dishes that rotate on a daily basis. A highlight is Friday’s “Posh Fish and Chips” (pictured) which is a twist on the old British classic with haddock, salmon and king scallop lightly fried in beer batter, served with chips, crushed minted peas and tartare sauce.
Simon Gaske, customer experience director at Novus, said: “The food development team have worked very hard on the new menu to make sure it is right and fitting with the Balls Brothers brand.
“The passion that has gone into creating each dish, as well as the outstanding quality of each product and ingredient, not only ensures a taste sensation, but also provides a fresh flavour to the classic bold British essence that Balls Brothers is so famously known for.”
After acquiring the long-established Balls Brothers bars seven years ago, Novus has been investing in the sites, including new openings.
