Bar joins forces with leading jeweller to create cocktail

Leading British jeweller Theo Fennell has joined forces with London bar and restaurant Sketch to devise a new cocktail inspired by his signature colour.

Theo’s Pink Fizz (pictured) combines Beefeater 24 gin with the floral notes of a rose liqueur and orange blossom water plus grenadine, egg white, double cream and lemon juice, topped with rosé champagne.

In keeping with a signature colour of Theo’s work, the luxurious cocktail will be available in The Gallery restaurant, under bar manager Joseph Arowolo, at Sketch from June until the end of September.

It also matches the pink surroundings of The Gallery, which was refurbished last year by Paris-based architect and designer India Mahdavi with artwork by David Shrigley.

Theo said: “A great cocktail is in itself a thing and the ethos of Sketch and their commitment to outstanding food, thought-provoking art and music sits ideally with us. It is a perfect place for us to show off our extraordinary, bright new work.”
