Bar operators sought for Birmingham development

two snowhillBar and restaurant operators are being sought for four leisure units in the new Two Snowhill development in Birmingham.

Colliers International has been instructed to market the units which range from 1,459 square feet to 4,121 square feet and benefit from external terrace areas and the opportunity to add mezzanine levels for bespoke interior spaces.

Two Snowhill (pictured) is a joint venture between Hines and Ballymore Group and is next to the city’s main retail zone and close to Birmingham Snow Hill station.

It is located within Birmingham’s Central Business District where about 35,000 people are employed by 500 companies. The development’s offices are already 70% let and have capacity for 10,000 when Phase 3 is complete.

The team at Colliers International is being led by Birmingham-based Paul Hands, director of licensed and leisure, with assistance from senior surveyor Sam May. The team has been encouraging London-based A3 and A4 operators to come to Birmingham’s Central Business District.

Paul said: “There have been substantial improvements to the public realm and general environment within this area of the city.

“Given the large number of high-profile companies now working at Snowhill, together with the five million passengers per annum coming through the new station, it is crucial that the area’s leisure offer is able to effectively cater for them.

“We have the chance to now give food and beverage operators who have been looking to expand into the city centre a unique opportunity to do so.”
