Bartender appointed as new GB brand ambassador for Bulleit

Bartender Jenna Ba (pictured) has been announced as the new brand ambassador for Bulleit Bourbon in Great Britain.

She brings over 10 years’ experience working behind some of London’s best bars, most recently at Chiltern Firehouse in London and also three years at The Brompton Club, also in London, which she credits as the bar that inspired her bartending style.

In recent years, Jenna has also worked extensively at brand events and activations for leading spirits brands including Bulleit and was a semi-finalist in this year’s GB World Class competition. She takes over the role from Andrea Montague who has relocated to Barcelona.

Jenna’s new role with Diageo Reserve GB will see her working with the on-trade to educate and inspire bartenders, while in the off-trade, she will work with consumers providing tips on creating “World Class” drinks at home and telling the brand’s rich story to drive advocacy in both channels.

Officially starting on Monday July 3, Jenna will begin her new job with two days at the Imbibe Live show in London, working from Bulleit’s pop-up Woody wagon on stand C95, showcasing Bulleit Bourbon, Bulleit Rye and the brand’s signature serve of a Kentucky Ice Tea.

Diageo GB said Jenna was selected after spending the last decade “refining her skills and building an appreciation for how much the technique of staff, excellent service and a well thought-out offering help to create and develop an establishment”.

Jenna said: “I have come to know both Bulleit the brand and the team at Diageo Reserve so well over the past few years that I am thrilled to join them permanently. Bulleit is such an amazing bourbon that’s built on tradition and heritage but is also innovative – and that’s sometimes a hard balance. This is a really exciting time for me so I can’t wait to get started.”
