Adam Lahham from Scarfe’s Bar at Rosewood London hotel is the winner of this year’s Galvin Cup.

Held at Steam & Rye in the City of London, Adam was one of six bartenders to reach the final which this year featured Bowmore whisky.

Contestants were given a chance to show off their cocktail-making skills in the qualifying heats before being narrowed down into the final six for a “Shake Off”.

Adam’s Cargo Cocktail is made with 50ml of Bowmore 15 Darkest whisky, 20ml of homemade pineapple shrub, 20ml of Cocchi Americano, two pinches of black pepper and half a teaspoon of yuzu juice.

The competition is now in its eighth year, created by Fred Sirieix, general manager of London bar and restaurant Galvin at Windows, and its chef patron Chris Galvin.
