BBFB to bring brands to life for London Cocktail Week

Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands (BBFB) is planning a raft of activities for London Cocktail Week across its portfolio, from Grey Goose vodka to Bombay Sapphire gin.

Aimed at both cocktail-loving consumers and bartenders, the events range from trade seminars and pop-up bars to “avant-garde” parties, scheduled throughout the week from October 3 to 9.

Bacardí rum, Grey Goose and Bombay Sapphire will be found at the heart of the London Cocktail Week village that is taking over part of Old Spitalfields Market in east London throughout the week.

They will each partner with a top London bar or restaurant to bring the spirit of each brand to life for visitors through an immersive, theatrical cocktail experience.

Bacardí is teaming up with The Rum Kitchen to bring a taste of Miami to London with tropical cocktails and a “beach chic” atmosphere.

Inspired by the bistros of the continent, Grey Goose will be teaming up with restaurant Duck & Waffle to invite vodka lovers and Francophiles to enjoy café culture with “extraordinary” cocktails.

Bombay Sapphire is partnering late-night bar Cahoots to take visitors on an “exquisite journey”, inviting them to discover the tastes and cultures of the world through some special creations.

Bartenders can attend daytime inspirational seminars hosted by BBFB’s brand ambassadors: Bacardí’s Metinee “May” Kongsrivilai, Grey Goose’s Myles Donneky and Bombay Sapphire’s Renaud de Bosredon.

Taking place on the brands’ respective stands in the Cocktail Village, the seminars are aimed at educating and inspiring the bar community.

On Tuesday October 4, May will take attendees on a journey exploring the evolution of the classic rum cocktail, while Myles will be looking at the world of drinks, inspired by the Espresso Martini. To extend the London Cocktail Week experience beyond Old Spitalfields Market, BBFB will also offer London Cocktail Week wristband wearers specially-created cocktails made with spirits and liqueurs within the portfolio such as Woodford Reserve whiskey, Patrón tequila, Chambord black raspberry liqueur and Jack Daniel’s whiskey as well as Bacardí and Grey Goose.
