BBFB links with Gordon Ramsay pop-up

Hunting CabinDrinks company Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands (BBFB) has partnered with restaurant group Gordon Ramsay Holdings (GRH) to create a range of cocktails for its pop-up bar The Hunting Cabin.

The tiny venue in Camden on the edge of Regent’s Park has been created by the team behind GRH’s neighbouring restaurant and bar York & Albany. Open until the end of February, it is designed to look like a traditional Highlands cabin, inspired by the London park’s history as a hunting ground.

It is furnished with traditional tartans, tweeds, animal skins, antlers and stuffed animals to create an eccentric yet quintessentially British hunting lodge.

The BBFB training team has been working closely with GRH to integrate the kitchen and food offering, with a tailored cocktail menu and bar experience that pays homage to the area’s history.

Mixing classics with contemporary twists, the menu includes the Marylebone Julep, made with chestnut-infused Woodford Reserve bourbon and spiced syrup, and The Hunter, a mix of Bombay Sapphire gin, apricot brandy, lemon juice and champagne.

A hot chocolate has been cheered up with some Bacardi Oakheart and house-made marshmallows, while the Warm Spiced Mead is made with a dash of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, cloudy apple juice, an India pale ale and honey.

The Hound mixes buttered Bacardi Oakheart with blueberries and winter spiced syrup. The food offering includes traditional dishes such as black pudding, sausage rolls and Scotch eggs as well as marshmallows for toasting.

Joey Medrington of the BBFB training team said: “The BBFB training team has been working closely with Gordon Ramsay Holdings through a programme of dedicated training workshops to create a bespoke cocktail offering.

“By utilising brands from our leading portfolio, we have been able to design a menu that complements the food and reflects the personality and ethos behind the pop-up.

“We look forward to continuing our work with the restaurant group and are confident we can continue to deliver more unforgettable cocktail experiences.”
