Expanding cocktail bar group Be At One has recruited Sophie Evans from Novus Leisure as its new head of marketing.
In her new role, Sophie will primarily focus on furthering the company’s digital development, upgrading and enhancing the award-winning Be At One app, revamping its customer relationship management (CRM) systems and generally moving the brand forward to more innovative ways of working.
Her career in the hospitality industry began at The Restaurant Group five years ago where she worked on brands such as Chiquito and Garfunkel’s. Most recently she worked for Novus Leisure as marketing manager, working on the likes of Tiger Tiger and its Landmark bars portfolio.
Andrew Stones, operations director at Be At One, said: “We are extremely excited to welcome Sophie on board. She brings with her a wealth of hospitality industry experience and expertise and we look forward to seeing the company grow and develop further with her as a key member of the Be At One team.”

The group now operates 32 sites nationwide after opening in Boar Lane in Leeds this week.
