Specialist cocktail bar group Be At One is stepping up its nationwide expansion programme by doubling its presence in Birmingham.
Be At One has secured a site in the city’s burgeoning Brindleyplace business and leisure development. The latest move follows the addition of its first site in Essex last month.
The Brindleyplace bar will have a “classic” Be At One feel that will greatly enhance the appeal of the area through adding a dedicated cocktail bar venue.
Situated on the site of the former Mission Burrito restaurant, the bar also has the added benefit of outdoor space which the company intends to utilise all year round.
It will open in mid-August following a significant £500,000 refurbishment.
Managing director Andrew Stones said: “We’re very excited to have secured this site. Birmingham is obviously a city we know very well and our current bar in Piccadilly Arcade is trading exceptionally well.
“Our new bar in Brindleyplace will offer the same high quality Be At One experience in a smaller, more intimate environment to a wide range of guests; both the post-work crowd from surrounding offices and people enjoying a night out.
“We continue to be driven by our ethos of growing one bar and one guest at a time. We know our pillars of quality service, great cocktails and party atmosphere is why our guests value the Be At One experience so highly.”
Be At One plans to expand its current portfolio of bars, 17 of which are based in London, to over 70 in the next five years.
Andrew added: “We continue to actively seek new bars in locations that culturally match our offering, something that is incredibly important to us as a business, and continue to have a strong pipeline.”
