Belvedere lights up the night with illuminated bottle

Belvedere Illuminate Group (lowres)A new illuminated design has been launched for magnum bottles of Belvedere Vodka to build on theatre around the brand in the club and late-night bar sector.

Available for the on-trade from this month, the 175cl bottle comes with a single-use LED that is encased in waterproof plastic. Powered by a tiny battery, it can be switched on to fully light up the bottle.

It was previously available only on three-litre bottles and above but has been introduced in response to demand from the club sector where bottle-to-table service is in growth.

The new illuminated bottles were officially launched last night (April 9) at a party at The Vaults At One Marylebone in central London.

Brand owner LVMH said the new format would further strengthen Belvedere’s presence in the nightclub sector and offer a theatrical alternative to sparklers. It is expected to provide an added incentive for consumers to trade up from standard 75cl bottles.

Nick Ambridge, senior brand manager for Belvedere Vodka, said: “Belvedere Vodka, the world’s first super-premium vodka, is continuing to showcase its ability to inject excitement and edge into the night with the new illuminated 175cl bottle and offer on-trade customers another way to help stimulate sales.

“The bottle not only looks great in the bottle parade but also in the ice buckets and we think this is going to be a must-have item on the nightclub scene.”
