Belvoir adds light varieties to its Pressé range

Belvoir Fruit Farms is introducing three light varieties of adult soft drinks to its 25cl Pressé range for sale in the hospitality, on-trade and café sectors.

Fragrant and floral Elderflower Pressé Light, zingy Raspberry Lemonade Light and zesty Orange & Mandarin Pressé Light contain 30% less sugar than their original counterparts.

Like all the company’s drinks, the new lighter range is hand made at Belvoir using real pressed fruit juices and freshly picked flowers with no artificial preservatives or sweeteners, so despite the reduction in sugar, there is no compromise on flavour.

Elderflower Pressé Light is the lighter version of Belvoir’s regular Elderflower Pressé. It’s more delicate in taste than the original Pressé but has the same heady, floral aromas of freshly picked Elderflowers, tangy citrus from pressed lemon juice and gentle bubbles.

Raspberry Lemonade Light still has the zingy taste of real raspberries and lemons but is substantially lighter on calories than the original recipe – a 250ml serving has 55 calories compared to 107 calories.

New Orange & Mandarin Pressé Light offers all the zesty citrus taste of pressed orange juice mixed with mandarin juice but contains 30% less sugar than the previous organic version, giving it an extra citrussy sharp kick.

Belvoir’s lightly sparkling Pressés come in 25cl bottles which means they can be drunk on their own as they are ideal for individual serves. However, they also make fantastic mixers or ingredients for cocktails or virgin cocktails, providing the consumer with a lower sugar version that still delivers on taste and quality.
