Artisan drinks brand Berkshire Botanical has announced the launch of its second quintessentially British flavoured gin – Rhubarb & Raspberry.
Like the original Berkshire Botanical Dry Gin, the new 40.3% ABV flavoured expression is made on the Yattendon Estate in West Berkshire.
It offers “hints of fresh pine and fruity raspberry on the nose, with tart rhubarb and peppery citrus spice on the palate – all with an elegant fruity citrus finish”.
Johnny Neill, creator and owner of Berkshire Botanical, said: “We know that provenance and quality are increasingly important for consumers, so as a local, British brand taking inspiration from the Yattendon Estate and surrounding Berkshire countryside, we’re perfectly positioned to deliver on this trend, both with our existing products and our new Rhubarb & Raspberry variant.
“Furthermore, in order to help maintain this beautiful local area that we have taken much of our inspiration from, we have also partnered with the Berks , Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust, providing investment for local conservation projects and wildlife protection – a partnership we’re very excited to develop over the coming years.”
The new Berkshire Botanical Rhubarb & Raspberry Gin joins Berkshire Botanical Dry Gin and the new Dandelion & Burdock Gin to complete the range.
