A limited-edition of Bloom London Dry Gin has been launched for the summer, steeping it in fresh English strawberries.
Bloom Strawberry Cup is the first summer limited-edition gin from Bloom, which has always been promoted for serving with a garnish of strawberry quarters because it complements the floral character of the gin.
The signature serve of Bloom Strawberry Cup is with lemonade, mixed as a long drink and also for pitcher serves as an alternative to other fruit cups such as Pimm’s. It also mixes well with ginger ale or in cocktails.
Bloom Gin, developed by master distiller Joanne Moore, is made in a traditional copper pot still in Cheshire in the oldest gin distillery in Britain
Bloom Strawberry Cup joins limited-edition Sloe Bloom Gin as an extension to the range, which is owned by G&J Distillers, part of Quintessential Brands. The new gin is already being distributed in the on-trade to Mitchells & Butlers Fine Country Dining pubs across the UK.
Recipes include the Bloom Strawberry Cup Fizz, pouring 50ml of Bloom Strawberry Cup into a chilled champagne flute and topping up with prosecco or champagne.
