Bold new look unveiled for Stella Artois Cidre

Stella Artois Cidre 2016 new look

AB InBev has unveiled a bold new look for its Stella Artois Cidre range to reinforce the ciders’ premium positioning and “vibrant personality”.

The design will be featured on all bottles and cans in the Stella Artois Cidre family: Apple, Pear, Peach, Raspberry and Elderflower. All five feature elegant paint stroke detailing to highlight the brand’s hand-picked apple and fruit flavours and “passion” for good-quality ingredients.

Originally launched in the UK in April 2011, Stella Artois Cidre will be supported with both TV and out-of-home advertising going live on July 11.

It will also be supported by an on-pack promotion on bottles running now until August 28. Consumers who find one of the Stella Artois Cidre “lucky stars” under the bottle cap will win one of three Extraordinaire Adventures or one of 10,000 Stella Artois Cidre chalices.

The action-packed “adventures” include a luxury holiday in the Maldives, a seven-day trip to Scandinavia, and a stay on a private Fijian island resort where you can build your own treehouse.

Ally Atha, senior brand manager at Stella Artois Cidre, said: “It is an important time for cider brands to set themselves apart. Stella Artois Cidre embodies a sophisticated, adventurous lifestyle and we are excited to launch this incredible on-pack promotion and packaging that further distinguishes ourselves from our competitors.”
