Boom Burger reopens this week

Boom Burger has opened its doors on Portobello Road this month after closing to spruce up the menu and shake up the cocktail offering.

Set in the heart of West London, owners hope to bring a slice of Caribbean sunshine to the drizzly London days, with classics such as the Mad Boom burger with two succulent patties, chunks of cheese and bacon jam. Or there’s the Jerk Boom, a jerk chicken burger with fried plantain and rocket, topped with sweet mango and papaya sauce.

If burgers aren’t your thing, there is also a selection of fresh fish and salad dishes. Try the brand new fiery Peppered Shrimp or the tender Saltfish chilli and herb fritters or Fish Salad with crispy Pan-fried Red Snapper in a spicy vinegary traditional Escovitch sauce.

Founder, Josh De Lisser and his team have shaken up the cocktail menu with their Boom Juice offering, inviting diners to sip on classics with a Jamaican twist such as a creamy Pina Colada, Rum Punch or Tropical Storm.
