The Botanist to expand to 12 with new site in Didsbury

The New World Trading Company (NWTC) is continuing to expand with plans to open The Botanist in Didsbury next spring.

Customers will be able to enjoy botanical cocktails, world famous beers and a handpicked selection of gin. They can also dine on deli and rotisserie-inspired food and enjoy live music with evening gigs taking place daily.

“We are incredibly excited to bring The Botanist concept to Didsbury,” The New World Trading Company’s chief executive officer, Chris Hill said. “We’ve had great success since our first opening in Alderley Edge back in 2012 and look forward to continuing this in our new location.”

The 4500 square foot pub and restaurant will reside in the former JD Wetherspoons’ pub The Milson Rhodes and is the 12th addition to The Botanist brand. The New World Trading Company’s other sites include The Oast House in Manchester, The Smugglers Cove in Liverpool and The Trading House in London. It was founded by Tim Bacon, the co-founder of bar and restaurant group Living Ventures.
