Brakes Group has bolstered its range with the introduction of two new quiches, Quiche Lorraine and Hot Smoked Salmon and Watercress.
Ideal for pre-portioning, the new ten-inch, fully-baked handcrafted British inspired Quiche Lorraine “takes a classic recipe and dresses it up” to create a dish designed for the buffet table.
Made with mature Cheddar cheese and maple cured bacon, it divides perfectly into 14 generous slices, and can be served either hot or cold. Supplied frozen, each quiche is £32.99, equivalent to £2.36 per portion.
The smaller four-inch, fully baked, individual hand-finished Hot Smoked Salmon and Watercress quiche (pictured) can be dished up whole as a starter or light meal. Served hot or cold, it is packed frozen in sixes, ready for defrosting as needed. At £20.99 per case, each quiche costs the caterer just £3.50.
