Brakes announces its Easter menu

Brakes has announced its Easter menu which includes traditional favourites alongside contemporary choices.

Classic meat dishes include a Welsh Lamb Leg, which comes rolled and tied, ready for the oven. As it’s boneless, the joint is easy to slice making it a winner on the carvery.

Alternatively, lamb shanks, slow cooked in red wine or lightly marinated in mint and rosemary, are size-graded for portion control.

There’s plenty of beef on offer too – a Birchstead British 21 Day Aged Rib Eye Roll, a beef topside, featherblade steaks, slow-cooked beef featherblade, venison haunch medallions, oven-ready whole duck, pork loin and slow-cooked belly of pork.

Brakes’ line up even includes a limited edition milk chocolate Easter egg cheesecake, as well as the more traditional lemon meringue pie, and fruited hot cross buns.

A quick-thawing mango and passion fruit roulade comes pre-portioned so you can take a slice out of the freezer as needed to avoid wastage. Or there’s the pre-cut caramelized orange cheesecake, which is a convenient way to serve up slices of orange zest flavoured vanilla cheesecake topped with Spanish orange segments coated in sticky caramel sauce.

Ice cream choices include all the favourites as well as Joe Delucci Gelati and Sicilian pistachio and mango flavours.
