Broker’s Gin has London Cocktail Week in the bag

brokers satchelBroker’s Gin is teaming up with a British manufacturer of satchels for London Cocktail Week to offer cocktails to match the company’s most popular bags.

From Monday October 7 to Sunday October 13, it will be serving the gin-based drinks at the Cambridge Satchel Company’s shop in Shorts Gardens, Covent Garden. It celebrates the British provenance of both products which are exported globally.

For example, “The Classic” satchel will be paired with a Broker’s gin and tonic while “The Brit Bag” will be matched with the floral English Martini.

Broker’s Gin will offer a free sample cocktail to anyone wearing a London Cocktail Week wristband who visits the Covent Garden store between midday and 2pm and between 5pm and 7pm across the seven days.

The London dry gin is produced using a traditional copper pot still with pure grain spirit made from English wheat and 10 botanicals from around the world.

The brand has been growing at a rate of 40% a year over the past five years. Founders Martin and Andy Dawson have appointed a business development director to help them expand further. Peter Martin has taken on the role having worked on Appleton Estate rum for the past 13 years and, previously, on Camus Cognac and Allied Domecq’s rums, gins and liqueurs.
