Glamorous London club Whisky Mist is undergoing a refurbishment before being relaunched with the addition of a new sister club called Rusty Nail.
Owner Brompton Brands are reinventing the Mayfair venue to resemble a gothic chapel, with a pulpit acting as a DJ booth, stained-glass windows, a reclaimed church organ and pews.
This will be alongside suits of armour, coats of arms, crested wallpaper and tartans while drinks will be served in quirky vessels made of pewter, steel and leather.
Alongside the main club will be a new more exclusive smaller space called Rusty Nail decorated with candles, distressed wallpaper and old whisky barrels, specialising in whiskies and cocktails.
The new-look Whisky Mist (pictured as a computer-generated image) is due to open on February 6.
Brompton Brands directors Nick House and Piers Adam opened Whisky Mist in 2008 in a ground-floor space in the London Hilton on Park Lane.
Four years ago, they opened a second site for Whisky Mist in the five-star Phoneccia Hotel in Beirut.
