Swedish craft brewery Brutal Brewing has launched its six-strong core range to the UK on-trade via distributor Proof Drinks.
A Ship Full of IPA is a “twist” on the traditional American IPA, made with Magnum, Cascade, Amarillo and Galaxy hops. The brewery claims it is the best-selling IPA in Sweden.
Brutal also produces a non-alcoholic version of Ship Full of IPA, created through a vacuum distillation process which boils off the alcohol at a low temperature of 42°. Following this, the beer is dry-hopped for extra flavour.
Tail of the Whale is a German wheat ale blend, brewed with wheat malt and Scottish ale yeast and dry-hopped with Citra, while Cirrus Cloudy Lager presents a 5.1% ABV unfiltered cloudy pilsner lager, made using organic hops and malts such as Hallertau Tradition, Organic Palisade, Organic Cascade Humor and Organic Pilsner Malt.
The line-up continues with Hale to Nothing, a twist on an English Pale Ale, with note sof citrus and freshly harvested grass and hops, and finally, Session Pale Ale, a low-ABV pale ale, combining hops from German, America and Australia.
Brutal Brewing officially launched at Craft Beer Rising 2019, where the entire core range was available. The brand will be introducing further beers to the series later this year.
