Celebrate the World Cup with themed cocktail

James Coston Monin World Cup

Bars, pubs and clubs can score with themed drinks for the World Cup, according to syrup and puree brand Monin.

Monin’s UK brand ambassador James Coston has devised a red and white cocktail that can net profits whether Roy Hodgson’s team win, lose, or draw.

Hodgson’s Choice combines Monin grenadine syrup, lemon juice and champagne, topped with a lemon and sugar foam and the garnish of a cherry with a stem.

James said: “Hodgson’s Choice pays homage to the red and white worn by England when Bobby Moore’s heroes lifted the World Cup in 1966.

“The Monin UK team wish manager Roy Hodgson the best of luck in Brazil and recommend this cocktail as the perfect drink to cool off after a hard day’s training in the Amazon jungle.”
