Chairman’s Reserve rums to tour north for bartender events

chairmans reserve rums

Bartenders are being invited to a series of events in cities across the north of England, presenting Chairman’s Reserve rums including its latest new release.

The sessions in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle upon Tyne in April will be led by Dave Marsland, brand ambassador for the rum at UK distributor Emporia Brands.

He will present the Chairman’s Reserve range including Gold, Spiced, White Label and Forgotten Cask, the Admiral Rodney, and the latest release, 1931 Fourth Edition.

The sessions aim to offer bartenders and key industry figures a chance to learn about St Lucia where the rums are made but also pick up ideas on how to embrace the versatility of St Lucia Distillers, from the Spiced variety to the rare 1931.

The tour is linked to Emporia Brands’ search for the UK’s best and brightest bartenders to join the “Chairman’s XI” which is made up of leading industry figures who use Chairman’s Reserve in their bars. Members include Lyndon Higginson of The Liars Club in Manchester, Danny Murphy of Aloha in Liverpool and Adam Binnersley of Mojo bars.

The tour will be at Almost Famous at Great Northern Warehouse in Manchester on April 6, at 81 Ltd in Liverpool on April 13, at Almost Famous in Leeds on April 20, and at Tiger Hornsby in Newcastle on April 27. All sessions are 2pm to 4pm.

Places are limited to a maximum of 30 for each session because of the rarity of 1931 Fourth Edition. To secure a place, contact Dave Marsland at stating the preferred session.
