A new cocktail is being added to the menu at restaurant and bar group Chino Latino to celebrate Pride events taking place across the UK and overseas.
The multi-coloured, layered cocktail, inspired by the rainbow LGBT Pride flag, was created by Dennis Starck, head bartender at Chino Latino in Köln, Germany.
The long drink is a combination of Bacardi rum, Passoã passion fruit liqueur, lime juice, orange juice, mango juice, curaçao liqueur and a dash of grenadine.
It will debut at Chino Latino in Köln to tie in with the city’s Pride festival from June 23 to July 6, which includes the Christopher Street Day Parade on July 6.
It will then be available for the rest of 2014 at Chino Latino’s Pan-Asian restaurants and Latin-American bars in London, Nottingham and Leeds.
A two-for-one offer on the cocktail will run during the cities’ Pride events: London Pride on June 28, Nottingham Pride on July 26 and Leeds Pride on August 3.
