The Ivy Kensington Brasserie is celebrating the return of the Cirque du Soleil by adding two exclusive cocktails to its set menu offering.
This month, Cirque du Soleil will be returning to the Royal Albert Hall with Totem, which traces the fascinating journey of the human species to its ultimate desire to fly.
Inspired by the acrobatic nature of this year’s performance, cocktails will include the Tropical Trapeze, featuring Hendricks gin, cream de banana, lime juice, hibiscus syrup and peach bitters, and the Drum Dance, incorporating Havana Club 7yo rum, grenadine syrup, lime juice, clementine and cinnamon juice, Koko Kanu, Angostura bitters and a lime, cherry and mint garnish.
Both concoctions will be available for those ordering from the set menu. Accompanying dishes include Bang Bang Chicken, crispy chicken, peanut, cucumber, baby gem and radish salad, sweet chilli and peanut dressing, and Roast Hake with bean and leek cassoulet, pork lardons and baby onions.
The Tropical Trapeze and Drum Dance will be available at The Ivy from 8 January to 26 February.
