The team of bartenders behind The Cocktail Trading Company are set to open a new bar in east London in late January.
They are due to move out of their first bar, The Cocktail Trading Company Development Bar & Table, in Soho (pictured) and open a new permanent venue on the corner of Brick Lane and Bethnal Green Road.
They opened the Soho bar in January in the basement of Urban Leisure Group’s Central & Co, going on to open a second Cocktail Trading Company bar in Smithfield in October.
The team, led by bartenders Andy Mil, Olly Brading and Elliot Ball, also opened Her Majesty’s Secret Service (HMSS) in Bristol in July.
The new ground-floor bar will feature a back bar with around 400 spirits and liqueurs reflecting a focus on unusual and rare spirits from around the world.
Offering the brand’s quirky trademark cocktails and lively, down-to-earth vibe, Cocktail Trading Company Brick Lane will also feature a bar school and an in-house distillery.
Cocktails, all priced at £9, promise to be highly creative and served in eye-catching bespoke vessels.
The Soho bar is due to close on January 11.
