Competition launched to find UK brand ambassador for Four Roses

A competition has been launched to find a UK brand ambassador for leading bourbon Four Roses, with the successful candidate chosen in a final audition.

Drinks company Spirit Cartel is looking for someone with a thorough understanding of the bar industry, excellent trade relationships and the ability to engage with people in the drinks world.

All you need to do is to submit your CV and up to 300 words explaining why you would be suitable for the role by March 28 to (This was extended from the original deadline of March 14.)

Five finalists will be selected by Spirit Cartel and invited to final auditions in London on April 4. Candidates will present their case, take part in a Four Roses quiz and demonstrate their cocktail skills.

The successful candidate will be announced on April 5 and will be the face of the brand in the UK, effective immediately. It will be a part-time contract with a competitive salary.

They will be taken on a trip to the Four Roses Distillery in Kentucky as a guest and then host all future trips of people from the UK trade.

According to the job description, they are after a charismatic candidate who will epitomise Four Roses’ style and elegance and be prepared to challenge the preconceived norm – a leader not a follower. “A sour mash sage with flair and a thorough understanding of the bar industry, excellent trade relationships and the ability to engage the drinks fraternity with Four Roses.
