Craft Beer Rising returns for 2017

Beer, music and street food festival, Craft Beer Rising, is returning to The Old Truman Brewery for its fifth year in February 2017.

From 23-25 February, the festival at London’s Brick Lane will showcase craft beers and ciders, as well as the latest product launches, new recipes and innovations in the brewing world.

This time, organisers will be adding another room to the event which will allow them to focus on emerging breweries and those who are right at the beginning of their life cycle in the brewing world. There will be approximately 170 breweries and producers represented at the show with the capacity of up to 2,000 people per session.

As well as plenty of chance to sample the beers and ciders, there will also be music, with producer and DJ, DJ Yoda taking the main stage on Saturday night’s session. Street food vendors will also be on hand to inspire some food matching and cater for both meat lovers and vegetarians alike.

Talks and tastings are all included again with panel debates from industry insiders including Melissa Cole and Pete Brown.

Director and founder of CBR London 2017, Daniel Rowntree said: “CBR has become the highlight of the beer event calendar particularly for those interested in discovering new breweries and fresh product launches.

“We are proud to provide a platform for brands to launch new beers and in 2015 and 2016 that included Adnams, Fourpure, Hiver, Ilkley, and Beavertown. We also saw the launch of breweries and producers including Bedlam, Mondo and Hawkes Urban Cider, with an uplift in European and American breweries exhibiting.”
