Dalston’s Soda Company is kick-starting 2019 by launching four new flavoured craft sodas to the UK on and off-trade.
With young people dramatically reducing their alcohol intake and looking for healthier, alcohol-free alternatives, Dalston’s believes that it is the time for natural soft drinks to shine.
As well as introducing two new flavours, Fizzy Rhubarb and Fizzy Blackcurrant, to its core range, the brand has unveiled a new range called Soda Light.
Made with no added sugar or sweeteners and under 20 calories a can, Dalston’s Lights include variants such as Real Squeezed Elderflower and Real Squeezed Rhubarb.
All of the soda recipes at Dalston’s continue to be developed in-house by former chef and founder Duncan O’Brien. The four new flavours are made with British ingredients sourced by Duncan.
Duncan said: “Millennials are losing their taste for sugar, and placing even more emphasis on health. That’s why we chose to develop our new range of Lights – which we’ll be adding to, over the next few years.
“Competitors cram their ‘diet’ drinks with sweeteners or artificial flavourings which is not good for you. It was time for us to step up and show what naturally light, refreshingly fruity sodas should really taste like.”
