The Deltic Group is set to develop and grow its entertainment offering in its clubs with a new appointment to its leadership team.
It has brought in Charlotte Purdy (pictured), who has an extensive track record in the club sector including Ministry of Sound, as head of entertainment.
She will be responsible for sourcing and securing DJs, celebrity PAs, guest appearances and other entertainment for its 59 venues which include the Pryzm, Atik and Cameo brands.
Charlotte has held a number senior roles at leading late-night companies including Coalition Talent, Eminence Leisure and, most recently, Ministry of Sound, where she was involved in event management for the business.
Deltic’s CEO, Peter Marks, said: “Charlotte brings a wealth of experience with her and it’s been great seeing how enthused she has been over the opportunities to work with our roster of entertainment. We’re confident that Charlotte is the right person to take our entertainment offering to the next level.”
Deltic has a strategic focus on investing in entertainment to create “great nights out” for its customers, delivering “unforgettable experiences” at its clubs across the UK.
Charlotte said: “I was attracted to Deltic as I feel there is an opportunity for me to develop and grow our offering. Deltic has a good reputation for putting on great nights out, but the market changes so quickly.
“It’s vital that we are always thinking about what else we can do to ensure we continue to give our guests a reason to come back time and again.
“I’ve been watching them for a while and I am excited to be joining them in this new role. To me it demonstrates the businesses commitment to delivering great nights out by continually investing in the very best entertainment.”
