Desi Daru, the award-winning British-Indian vodka brand, has secured one of Mayfair’s most fitting listings as its Alphonso Mango Vodka now features in three signature serves on the menu of Tamarind of Mayfair’s Terrace.

Tamarind is the first Indian restaurant in London to be awarded a Michelin star. Its terrace is open all summer, offering a special menu of Desi Daru cocktails and small plates with the restaurant’s celebrated Indian cooking.

Desi Daru’s Alphonso Mango Vodka runs as a thread through three cocktail iterations:

Summer Negroni · £14

Desi Daru Alphonso Mango Vodka, Suze, peach, Cocchi Americano Rosa and mandarin bitters.

Mango Sling · £15

Desi Daru Alphonso Mango Vodka, elderflower, verjus, bitters, raspberry and orange blossom soda.

Desi Daru was created to celebrate its founders’ dual heritage, inspired in India and born in Britain. Desi Daru’s vodkas are distilled seven times from English winter wheat for a famously smooth, creamy mouthfeel, and the Alphonso Mango expression captures sun ripened mangoes from Ratnagiri, distilled rather than infused, for a clean spirit with true mango aromatics.
