Designers inspire London Fashion Week cocktails


buddha bar French 76Designers and super-models have inspired bartenders to create cocktails to mark London Fashion Week.

At Buddha-Bar London in Knightsbridge, mixologist Kester Thomas has created a classic twist with his French 76 (pictured) as a homage to model Kate Moss, combining Babička vodka, St-Germain elderflower liqueur and champagne.

The five-strong London Fashion Week cocktail collection at the glamorous bar also includes the Matcha Miuccia is a mix of matcha green tea, Koco Kanu coconut rum and white chocolate, representing a woman with “(Prada) bags of style”.

Designer Matthew Williamson’s love of deluxe bohemian chic is encapsulated in The Ernesto, a combination of silver tequila, maraschino, lime and pink grapefruit juice.

New York design icon Marc Jacobs is represented by The Thurston Howell, which blends Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum, crème de banane, orange juice, sweet and sour mix, simple syrup and grenadine.

Tailor-made for every calorie-counting model, the low-carb Skinny Bitch is a guilt-free recipe of Babička vodka, soda water and fresh cucumber.

While London Fashion Week runs from September 14 to 17, Buddha-Bar London is offering its fashion-inspired collection, priced from £12.50, throughout September.
