Manchester-based Didsbury Gin is rolling out a limited edition liqueur for Christmas, inspired by the humble mince pie.
As the popularity of gin increases, Didsbury is positioning the new liqueur as a “people pleasing addition” to Christmas tables and bars’ drinks menus.
The recipe fuses seasonal flavours such as cinnamon, nutmeg and mixed spice with the original Didsbury Gin expression to create “a warming wintery drink” which can be served straight up on ice or as an ingredient in festive cocktails.
Launched in 2017, the artisan craft brand is created by gin enthusiasts Mark Smallwood and Liam Manton, and takes its inspiration from the vibrancy and colourful nature of Parsonage and Fletcher Moss botanical Gardens in south Manchester.
Didsbury combines traditional artisan methods, infusing modern botanicals using a blend of hand-peeled fresh citrus, British roots and hand cracked juniper berries.
Joining Didsbury Gin Original and Didsbury Gin Raspberry & Elderflower, the new 18% ABV Christmas Gin is available for a limited time only.
