Disaronno collaborates with Versace on limited-edition bottle

A glamorous new bottle designed by luxury fashion house Versace has been unveiled for Disaronno amaretto.

The striking design, called “Disaronno wears Versace”, sees the bottle draped in light blue and embellished with a white and gold motif, taking inspiration from the Versace Home Collection.

The collaboration supports Fashion 4 Development, a global campaign that is sponsored by the United Nations and uses fashion to tackle issues in the developing world. Disaronno will donate part of the proceeds towards the development of the project in Africa.

Disaronno’s UK brand ambassador Rod Eslamieh has created a cocktail to mark the collaboration, which will be available exclusively at The Rivoli Bar at The Ritz in London from October 20 until Christmas. The cocktail is pictured with the new bottle – see below for the recipe.

The exclusive limited-edition 500ml bottle will be available in the UK from early October, selling in retail for the suggested price of £15. It follows last year’s collaboration with Italian fashion brand Moschino which featured Moschino’s signature heart pattern.

Augusto Reina, chief executive of brand owner Illva Saronno, said: “For the second year running we are proud to be partnering with another of the world’s finest Italian fashion houses.

“To be able to include Moschino and Versace amongst our list of collaborators is a real honour and a testament to Disaronno’s position as the world’s favourite Italian liqueur.”
